Here’s a quick, hearty, and flavorful recipe for a 30-Minute
Spicy Pork and Sweet Potato Stew. It’s perfect for a weeknight meal and packs a
highly spiced-sweet punch.
Ingredients (Serves
4)
1 lb (450 g) red meat shoulder or tenderloin, reduce into
chunk-sized portions
2 medium candy potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium onion, diced
three cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece of ginger, grated
1 purple bell pepper, diced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1–2 tsp chili flakes (alter to flavor) or 1 sparkling chili,
chopped
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp floor cumin
half tsp ground cinnamon (optionally available, provides
warmth)
1 can (14 oz. / 400 g) diced tomatoes
2 cups chook or vegetable inventory
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Salt and pepper to flavor
Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Sear the red meat
Heat oil in a big pot or deep skillet over medium-excessive
warmth.
Season beef with salt and pepper, then sear until browned on
all sides (three–four minutes). Remove red meat and set aside.
2. Sauté aromatics
In the same pot, upload onion, garlic, ginger, and chili.
Cook till aromatic (2–3 mins).
Add bell pepper and cook dinner some other 1–2 minutes.
3. Add spices
Stir in smoked paprika, cumin, and cinnamon. Toast the
spices for 30 seconds to deliver out taste.
Return beef to the pot. Add candy potatoes, diced tomatoes,
inventory, soy sauce, and honey. Stir nicely.
5. Simmer
Bring to a boil, then lessen warmness and simmer for 15–20
minutes, or until candy potatoes are soft and pork is cooked through.
6. Adjust seasoning
Taste and upload more salt, pepper, or chili if wished.
7. Serve
Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley. Serve with rice,
crusty bread, or experience as is.
✅ Tips:
For greater warmness, upload a dash of warm sauce or a
finely chopped clean chili.
If you prefer a thicker stew, mash some candy potato cubes
into the broth.
Quick-cooking beef tenderloin will reduce general cooking
time, but red meat shoulder gives richer flavor.
If you want, I also can provide you with a one-pot model
that uses simplest 1 pan and takes literally 30 minutes—great rapid and minimal
cleanup. Do you need me to try this.
