Here’s an in depth recipe to make it at domestic:

Chicken Miso Curry Recipe

Servings: three–4

Prep Time: 15 min

Cook Time: 30 min

Ingredients

Chicken: 500g boneless bird thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)

Onion: 1 large, finely chopped

Garlic: three cloves, minced

Ginger: 1-inch piece, minced

Carrot: 1 medium, sliced

Potato: 1 medium, diced (elective)

Miso paste: three tbsp (white or yellow miso works first-rate)

Curry powder: 2 tsp

Soy sauce: 1 tbsp

Mirin (or honey): 1 tbsp

Chicken inventory or water: 2 cups

Vegetable oil: 1–2 tbsp

Optional: Green peas, bell peppers, or mushrooms

Instructions

1. Prep the chook: Pat the hen dry and season gently with salt.

2. Sauté aromatics: Heat oil in a massive pan over medium warmness. Add onions and prepare dinner until translucent.

3. Brown the chicken: Add the hen portions to the pan and gently brown them on all sides.

4. Add greens: Stir in carrots and potatoes (and every other vegetables you like) for 2–3 mins.

5.  Stir properly. Bring to a simmer.

6. Simmer: Cover and cook dinner for 15–20 minutes till bird is cooked via and greens are smooth.

 7. Add miso: Reduce warmness to low. Dissolve the miso paste in a small amount of warm broth from the pan, then stir it lower back into the curry. Simmer for two–3 minutes (do not boil after including miso to preserve its flavor).

8. Adjust seasoning: Taste and alter with greater soy sauce or miso if needed.

9. Serve: With steamed rice or noodles, garnished with chopped scallions or sesame seeds.

 Tips:

Use fowl thighs for juicier meat; breasts can dry out.

White miso is milder; red miso offers a deeper, more potent umami flavor.

You could make it creamy by way of adding a touch of coconut milk on the quit.

If you want, I also can provide you with a faster, one-pot model that’s ideal for a weekday dinner and just as flavorful. Do you need me to try this.
