Cornbread-Stuffed Mussels (Fusion Seafood Recipe)
Cornbread-Stuffed Mussels is a creative dish that blends the
sweetness and grainy texture of Southern-fashion cornbread with the briny,
ocean flavor of soft mussels. It works well as a starter, celebration
appetizer, or a small gourmand seafood snack.

1 kg fresh Mussels, wiped clean and debearded
1.Five–2 cups crumbled Cornbread (barely dry, day-antique
desired)
2 tbsp butter
three cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely diced
1 inexperienced chili (non-obligatory, for heat)
half cup fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
1 tsp lemon zest
2–3 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/four cup breadcrumbs (non-obligatory, for added crisp
topping)
half of tsp paprika (non-obligatory, for shade and moderate
smokiness)

Preparation Steps
1. Clean and steam
the mussels
Start by scrubbing the mussels very well below cold water.
Remove any beard-like fibers attached to the shells.
In a large pan, soften butter over medium warmth. Sauté for
2–3 minutes until fragrant and gently golden.
Add the mussels to the pan, cover with a lid, and cook for
4–6 mins. Shake the pan occasionally to assist even cooking. The mussels will
open as they prepare dinner.
Remove the meat from the shells and set apart. Keep a
handful of the larger shells for stuffing and presentation.
2. Prepare the
stuffing aggregate
In a blending bowl, integrate crumbled cornbread with
chopped mussel meat.
Add the sautéed onion and garlic mixture from the pan for
additonal taste. Mix in parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, black pepper,
and paprika.
Three. Stuff the
mussel shells
Take the reserved mussel shells and spoon the
cornbread-mussel aggregate into each one. Press gently so the filling remains
compact.
If desired, sprinkle a small quantity of breadcrumbs on
pinnacle to create a crispy golden crust at some point of baking.
Four. Bake to finish
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Place the stuffed mussels on a baking tray coated with foil
or parchment paper. Bake for 8–10 mins till the tops are slightly crisp and
