Easy Chipotle Cheddar Beef Chili
This Easy Chipotle Cheddar Beef
Chili is a rich, smoky, and barely highly spiced comfort food dish that’s
perfect for weeknight dinners, sport days, or meal prep. It combines ground red
meat, beans, tomatoes, chipotle peppers, and melted cheddar cheese into a
thick, flavorful chili with a deep smoky heat.
Ingredients
Main:
500 g ground beef
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
3–four garlic cloves (minced)
1 bell pepper (chopped, elective)
Base:
1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
1 can (400 g) black beans
(non-obligatory, dried, and rinsed)
2 tbsp tomato paste
1–1½ cups red meat broth or water
Flavor & spice:
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
Finish:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp oil (for cooking)
Instructions
1. Cook the pork.
Heat oil in a large pot over medium
warmth. Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
This usually takes about 5–7 minutes. Drain extra fat if wanted.
2. Add aromatics
Add chopped onion and cook for 3–4
mins till tender. Stir in garlic (and bell pepper if used) and cook for some
other minute till aromatic.
Three. Build the taste base.
Add tomato paste and stir well into
the beef combination. This step allows less uncooked tomato taste and adds
richness.
4. Add spices and chipotle.
Then upload the chopped chipotle
peppers with a spoon of adobo sauce. Stir the entirety properly so the red meat
is flippantly covered with spices.
5. Add tomatoes and beans.
Pour in diced tomatoes, kidney
beans, and black beans. Add beef broth or water to loosen the mixture. Stir the
whole lot together.
6. Simmer
Bring the chili to a gentle boil,
then reduce warmness to low. Cover and allow it to simmer for 25–35 mins. The
chili will thicken and the flavors will mix together.
7. Add cheddar cheese.
Once the chili is thick and
flavorful, flip off the heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese. The cheese
will soften into the chili, making it creamy and rich.

Rice or warm tortillas

Tortilla chips for dipping
Sour cream or yogurt (elective

Extra cheddar cheese on pinnacle
Tips for Best Results
Adjust spice stage: Use greater or
fewer chipotle peppers depending on your heat choice.
Thicker chili: Simmer longer without
a lid.
Extra smoky taste: Add a small pinch
of smoked salt or more smoked paprika.
Make ahead: This chili tastes even
better day after day as flavors deepen.
Freezing: Store in airtight packing
containers for up to 2–3 months.
Why This Recipe Works
The chipotle peppers provide a smoky
heat that blends flawlessly with the savory red meat, at the same time as
cheddar cheese provides a creamy, slightly tangy finish. Beans upload texture
and protein, making it a filling one-pot meal.
