Sausage & Peppers Baked Ziti


 

Ingredients (serves 4-6)

 

12 ozziti pasta

1 lb Italian sausage (slight or spicy), casings eliminated

1 big red bell pepper, sliced

1 huge yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

three cloves garlic, minced

1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp red pepper flakes (non-obligatory)

Salt and pepper, to flavor

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta

Cook ziti in step with bundle instructions till al dente. Drain and set apart.

2. Cook the sausage and vegetables
