Slow-Cooker Buffalo Chicken Chili
A heat, hearty chili with soft
fowl, beans, corn, and the tangy kick of buffalo sauce. Perfect for comfy
nights or recreation-day food.
Ingredients (Serves four–6)
1.5 lbs (680 g) boneless, skinless
hen breasts or thighs
1 can (15 ounces / 425 g) black
beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz. /
1 can (15 ounces / 425 g) corn,
drained
1 can (14.Five oz. / 411 g) diced
tomatoes
1 small onion, diced
three cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chook broth
half of cup buffalo sauce (regulate
to flavor)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chili powder
half tsp cumin
Salt and pepper, to taste
four ouncescream cheese, cubed
(optionally available for creaminess)
half cup shredded cheddar or
Monterey Jack cheese (optionally available)
Optional toppings: ranch or blue
cheese dressing, chopped green onions, tortilla chips, or cornbread.
Instructions
1. Prepare Ingredients:
Place chicken within the gradual
cooker.
2. Season and Sauce:
Pour in chook broth and buffalo
sauce. Sprinkle smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir
lightly to combine.
3. Cook:
Cover and cook dinner on low for
six–7 hours or excessive for 3–four hours until bird is soft.
4. Shred Chicken:
Remove chook and shred with two
forks. Return to the slow cooker, stirring to combine nicely.
5. Add Creaminess (Optional):
Stir in cream cheese and shredded
cheese until melted for a rich, creamy texture.
Taste and add extra buffalo sauce,
salt, or pepper if desired.
7. Serve:
Ladle into bowls and top with ranch
or blue cheese, chopped inexperienced onions, and serve with tortilla chips or
cornbread.
Tips and Variations
Heat Level: Add diced jalapeños or
more hot sauce for more spice.
Vegetarian Option: Replace chook
with chickpeas or tofu.
Make Ahead: Chili tastes even
higher the following day; store leftovers within the refrigerator for as much
as 4 days.
Cream-Free Version: Skip cream
cheese and shredded cheese to make it lighter while maintaining the buffalo
taste.
