Turkey Meatball Gyro
Recipe
A Turkey Meatball Gyro is a lighter, scrumptious twist on
the conventional Greek gyro. Ground turkey makes smooth, juicy meatballs, and
matched with creamy tzatziki, fresh veggies, and heat pita, it’s an ideal home
made meal.
Ingredients
For the Meatballs:
1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
1 small onion, finely grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup clean parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp floor cumin
½ tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to flavor
1 egg, lightly crushed
¼ cup breadcrumbs (elective, allows bind the meatballs)
For the Tzatziki
Sauce:
1 cup Greek yogurt

1. Prepare the
Meatballs:
In a mixing bowl, integrate floor turkey, grated onion,
minced garlic, parsley, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and
