Turkey Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients (four servings)

For the meatballs:

1 lb (450 g) ground turkey

half of cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optionally available)

1/four cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 big egg

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)

half of tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

half tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

1–2 tbsp milk (optionally available, if mixture feels dry)

For cooking:

2 tbsp olive oil (for pan-frying)

Optional sauce:

Marinara or tomato sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the meatball aggregate:

In a big bowl, combine floor turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano. Add milk if the combination seems dry. Mix lightly till just blended—overmixing makes meatballs dense.

2. Shape the meatballs:

Roll mixture into 1.5-inch (3–4 cm) balls. Place them on a plate or baking sheet coated with parchment paper.

3. Cook the meatballs:

Pan-fry technique: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium warmness. Add meatballs and cook four–5 minutes consistent with side till golden brown and cooked via (internal temperature 165°F / seventy four°C).

Baking method: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place meatballs on a covered baking sheet and bake 20–25 mins, turning midway for even cooking.

4. Simmer in sauce (non-compulsory):

For saucier meatballs, add cooked meatballs to a pan with warm marinara sauce. Simmer five–10 mins so flavors combination.

5. Serve:

Enjoy meatballs over spaghetti, rice, or in a sub sandwich. Garnish with greater parsley or Parmesan if favored.

Tips for Juicy Meatballs

Adding finely grated zucchini or carrot keeps meatballs moist.

Egg and breadcrumbs are critical to hold form.

Meatballs can be made in advance: freeze raw on a tray, then store in freezer luggage. Cook from frozen, including some greater mins.

For a lighter model, change half of the breadcrumbs for oats or use Greek yogurt internal for moisture.

This recipe makes approximately sixteen meatballs, best for a own family meal or meal prep. They’re juicy, smooth, and flavorful, best for weeknight dinners.
