Creamy, comforting, and full of ambitious flavor, White Chili with a Kick is a lighter twist on traditional chili that also promises critical warm temperature. Instead of tomatoes and crimson beans, this version uses white beans, green chilies, candy corn, and fragrant spices for a brilliant, cozy bowl with simply the right quantity of heat. 2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium onion, finely diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1–2 fresh jalapeños or green chilies, finely chopped (modify to flavor)

Spices

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon dried oregano

¼–½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for added kick)

Protein (pick one)

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

OR vegetarian choice

2 cups cooked white beans (cannellini or navy)

1 cup chickpeas

Liquids & Add-ins

2 cups chicken or vegetable inventory

1 cup corn kernels (clean or frozen)

¾ cup cream or coconut milk

Salt and black pepper, to taste

 Juice of ½ lime

Optional Toppings

Fresh cilantro

Sliced avocado

Sour cream or yogurt

1. Heat the olive oil in a huge pot over medium warmth. Add the onion and sauté for three–4 minutes till gentle and translucent.
