Crab Artichoke Dip
A warm, creamy, cheesy dip filled with crab meat and
artichokes — best for parties, sport nights, or a cozy snack. Rich, savory, and
slightly tangy, it pairs splendidly with crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh
greens.
Ingredients (Serves
four–6)
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
half cup (one hundred twenty ml) bitter cream
1/four cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
1 cup (one hundred g) shredded mozzarella cheese
half of cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
half tsp onion powder
half tsp paprika (non-compulsory)
1/four tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can (14 oz / four hundred g) artichoke hearts, drained and
chopped
eight oz. (225 g) lump crab meat, checked for shells
2 green onions, finely chopped (optionally available)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (a hundred ninety°C). Lightly
grease an eight×8-inch baking dish or similar small casserole dish.
2. Prepare the Base
In a big bowl, integrate softened cream cheese, sour cream,
and mayonnaise. Mix till smooth and creamy. This creates the wealthy base for
the dip.
3. Season
Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black
pepper. Stir thoroughly so the seasonings are lightly disbursed.
4. Add Cheese
Mix in shredded mozzarella and half of of the Parmesan
cheese. The mozzarella provides gooey creaminess, at the same time as the
Parmesan brings a salty, nutty taste.
Gently fold inside the chopped artichoke hearts and crab
meat. Be careful no longer to break up the crab too much — you want important
chunks of crab in each chunk.
6. Bake
Sprinkle the ultimate Parmesan on pinnacle for a golden,
barely crispy end. Bake for 20–25 mins till the pinnacle is lightly browned and
effervescent.
7. Garnish
Sprinkle chopped inexperienced onions and sparkling parsley
on top earlier than serving. They upload freshness and a pop of colour.
8. Serve
Serve the dip warm with crackers, sliced baguette, pita
chips, or sparkling greens like celery and bell pepper strips.
Tips and Variations
Cover and refrigerate. Bake simply earlier than serving.
Cheese Variations: Add Gruyère, fontina, or sharp cheddar
for extra depth.
Spicy Kick: Mix in some dashes of warm sauce or pink pepper
flakes for warmth.
Air Fryer Option: Spoon the dip into an oven-safe dish that
suits your air fryer. Cook at 350°F (a hundred seventy five°C) for 12–15 mins
till golden and bubbly.
Why It Works
This dip balances creamy richness with the delicate
sweetness of crab and the subtle tang of artichokes. The aggregate of cream
cheese, bitter cream, and mayonnaise guarantees it stays clean, at the same
time as the cheese on top browns fantastically to provide it texture. It’s
indulgent but smooth to make, and you could without problems double it for
larger gatherings.
Serving Suggestion: Pair it with crisp crackers or toasted
baguette slices for dipping. A chilled glass of white wine like Sauvignon Blanc
or Chardonnay enhances the crab’s sweetness superbly.
