twist on the conventional Sloppy Joe sandwich. Instead of serving the savory,
saucy filling on a bun, it’s baked in internal smooth biscuit dough cups and
crowned with melted cheese. They’re ideal for weeknight dinners, parties, or
short snacks because they’re easy, filling, and smooth to hold in your hand.
Ingredients (Serves 6–8)
For the filling:
450 g lean red meat (or ground
chook/turkey)
1 small onion, finely chopped
half of an inexperienced bell
pepper, finely chopped (non-compulsory)
2 cloves garlic, minced
half a cup of tomato ketchup
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp mustard
Salt and pepper to taste.
1/2 cup water (as wanted for sauce
consistency)
For the biscuit cups:
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
(eight–10 biscuits)
Topping:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or
mozzarella)
Instructions
1. Prepare the filling.
Heat a big skillet over medium warmth.
Add the floor meat and cook until browned, breaking it aside with a spoon.
Drain excess fat if wished.
Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and
garlic. Cook for approximately 3–5 minutes till the greens soften and turn out

2. Make the Sloppy Joe sauce
Stir in ketchup, tomato paste,

Four. Fill and bake

Five. Serve
Let the biscuit cups cool for 5 mins
before casting them off from the muffin tin. This enables them to set and makes
