Instructions
1. Sauté the aromatics.
Heat olive oil in a massive skillet
or saucepan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for about three–four
minutes until soft and translucent. Stir in the chopped garlic and prepare

2. Build the tomato base.
Pour in the chopped tomatoes or
overripe tomatoes and blend nicely.
3. Season the sauce.
Add paprika, chili flakes (if used),

4. Add the butter beans.
Stir the cooked butter beans into
the sauce. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the combination to a mild
simmer.
5. Simmer and thicken.

6. Add veggies (elective).
