Teriyaki Beef with
Veggies
Servings: 2–three Prep time: 15 mins Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
300g red meat (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
1 crimson bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 medium carrot, julienned
1 small broccoli crown, reduce into florets
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (non-obligatory)
For Teriyaki Sauce:
three tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin or rice wine
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch combined with 1 tbsp water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, blend soy sauce, mirin, honey, and sesame
oil. Stir well. Add the cornstarch slurry and set aside. This will thicken the
sauce in the course of cooking.
2. Cook the pork:
Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a big pan or wok over
medium-excessive heat. Add the beef slices and stir-fry for two–3 minutes till
browned however no longer absolutely cooked. Remove beef from the pan and set
apart.
Three. Stir-fry the
greens:
In the equal pan, upload every other tablespoon of oil. Toss
in garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add carrots and
broccoli first, stir-frying for two–3 minutes. Then add the bell peppers and

and sauce:
Return the red meat to the pan with the vegetables. Pour the
teriyaki sauce over the combination. Stir nicely, letting the sauce thicken and
coat the beef and greens lightly, approximately 2 mins. Taste and alter
sweetness or salt if needed.
5. Serve:
Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with chopped
inexperienced onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm with steamed rice, noodles,
or even cauliflower rice for a lighter alternative.

Thinly slice red meat: This guarantees brief cooking and

High warmth: Stir-frying at high warmth continues vegetables

Customize veggies: Snap peas, mushrooms, or zucchini can
