½ tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

2 huge eggs

3 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and finely chopped

For maple walnuts:

½ cup walnut halves

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp butter

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings:

Maple syrup

Whipped cream or ice cream

Extra cinnamon

Instructions

1. Make Maple Walnuts

Melt butter in a small skillet over medium warmth. Toast for 3–5 mins, stirring often, until fragrant and smooth. Remove and set apart.

 2. Prepare Pancake Batter

In a big bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In every other bowl, integrate buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Pour wet substances into dry and stir until simply blended. Fold in chopped apple. Avoid overmixing to hold pancakes fluffy.

Three. Cook Pancakes

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and gently grease. Pour ¼ cup batter in step with pancake. Cook till bubbles form and edges appearance set, about 2–3 minutes. Flip and cook any other 2–three mins until golden. Repeat with final batter.

4. Serve

Stack pancakes and sprinkle with maple walnuts.  Dust with cinnamon for added flavor.

These pancakes are tender, tender, and flawlessly spiced, with apple pieces including juicy sweetness and maple walnuts providing a crunchy, caramelized topping. They capture all the warmth of apple pie in a breakfast-friendly shape.
