California Turkey Burgers & Baked Sweet Potato Fries

 

This healthful, flavorful meal combines juicy turkey burgers with creamy avocado and crisp baked candy potato fries. Perfect for a nutritious dinner or weekend lunch.

Ingredients

For the Turkey Burgers:

1 lb (450 g) lean floor turkey

1/four cup finely chopped red onion

1/four cup finely chopped bell pepper (non-obligatory)

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

4 complete wheat burger buns

4 slices avocado

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Red onion slices

Optional: cheese slices (Swiss or cheddar)

For the Sweet Potato Fries:

2 big sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries

1–2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp paprika

half of tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt

Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

1. Bake the Sweet Potato Fries:

 Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Toss sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Spread in a unmarried layer on a parchment-covered baking sheet.

Bake 25–30 minutes, flipping midway, till golden and crispy.

2. Prepare the Turkey Burgers:

In a bowl, blend ground turkey, onion, bell pepper, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.

Form into four patties slightly large than the buns.

Cook burgers five–6 minutes in line with facet or till inner temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
