Tips for Best Results
Chicken thighs are juicier; however,
fowl breast also works well.
Don’t bypass the garlic and
ginger—they provide the sauce its real teriyaki taste.
If you like it spicier, upload a
pinch of chili flakes or a little sriracha to the sauce.
For a richer taste, increase brown
sugar barely or add a teaspoon of honey.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight
container inside the refrigerator for up to a few days. Reheat in a pan or
microwave, adding a splash of water if the sauce thickens an excessive amount.
