Teriyaki Chicken Stir-Fry

Teriyaki Chicken Stir-Fry is a colourful, flavorful dish that mixes smooth fowl, crisp greens, and a rich, slightly sweet teriyaki sauce. Quick to make and ideal for a weeknight dinner, this stir-fry balances protein, fiber, and taste in a single colorful plate.

300g boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced

1 purple bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 medium carrot, julienned

100g broccoli florets

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ginger, grated

2 tbsp vegetable oil

For the Teriyaki Sauce:

4 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp honey or brown sugar

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp mirin (optional)

1 tsp cornstarch blended with 2 tsp water

Optional Garnish:

Sesame seeds

Chopped spring onions

Cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

1. Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, blend soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and mirin. Stir in the cornstarch slurry. This will thicken into a smooth, flavorful teriyaki sauce when heated.

2. Cook the Chicken

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a massive pan or wok over medium-excessive warmness. Add the sliced chook and prepare dinner till browned and absolutely cooked, about four-five mins. Remove the hen from the pan and set aside.

3. Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In the same pan, upload the remaining oil. Sauté garlic and ginger till aromatic, about 30 seconds.  Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Then upload the bell peppers and preserve stir-frying for another 2 minutes until greens are soft-crisp.

4. Combine Chicken and Sauce

Return the cooked chicken to the pan. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir nicely to coat all ingredients. Allow the sauce to simmer for 1-2 minutes till it thickens slightly and clings to the chicken and vegetables.

5. Serve

Transfer the stir-fry to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions if desired. Serve warm over steamed rice or noodles.

Tips for Perfect Teriyaki Stir-Fry

Cut uniformly: Slice chicken and veggies flippantly for even cooking.

High warmness: Stir-frying works first-rate on excessive warmness, which helps hold the crispness of veggies.

Customize veggies: Snow peas, mushrooms, zucchini, or child corn are notable options.

Make it gluten-unfastened: Use tamari rather than soy sauce.

Extra taste: Add a splash of sesame oil on the stop for a nutty aroma.

Nutritional Highlights

This dish is rich in protein from bird, packed with vitamins from colourful veggies, and low in saturated fat. Using a small quantity of oil keeps it light, even as the natural sweetness of honey or brown sugar balances the savory soy flavor.

In brief, Teriyaki Chicken Stir-Fry is a fast, healthy, and satisfying meal. With smooth fowl, crisp greens, and a glossy teriyaki sauce, it’s a perfect dinner for busy evenings or casual gatherings. Serve it with rice or noodles for a complete, healthful meal.
