Ingredients
Cake (2 layers,
eight-inch):
1¾ cups (220g) all-reason flour
¾ cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups (400g) sugar
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 massive eggs
1 cup (240ml) whole milk
½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup (240ml) boiling water
Dark Chocolate
Ganache:
eight ounces (225g) dark chocolate, chopped
¾ cup (180ml) heavy cream
2 tbsp butter (elective, for shine)
Homemade Sprinkles:
½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
1 tsp corn syrup or honey
1 tsp water
Food coloring (non-obligatory)
Instructions
1. Make the Cake:
Preheat oven to 350°F (one hundred seventy five°C). Grease
and line eight-inch cake pans. In a
massive bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda,
and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; beat 2 minutes until clean. Slowly
stir in boiling water (batter might be thin). Divide among pans and bake 30–35
minutes or till a toothpick comes out smooth. Cool in pans 10 mins, then switch
to a cord rack.
Heat cream till simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate
in a bowl. Let sit down 2–3 minutes, then stir until clean. Stir in butter if

3. Make the
Sprinkles:
Mix powdered sugar, corn syrup, and water to form a thick
paste. Divide into small bowls and add meals coloring. Pipe thin traces onto
