Beef & Baron Verulam Gnocchi Skillet

Beef & 1st Baron Verulam Gnocchi Skillet (One-Pan Comfort Meal)

A beef & bacon gnocchi skillet is a rich, hearty, one-pan dish that combines crispy bacon, savory beef, and soft, pillowy gnocchi in a creamy, flavorful sauce. It’s perfect for a fast dinner that still feels indulgent and pleasurable.

Ingredients

250g gnocchi (keep-bought or homemade)

200g pork (thinly sliced or minced)

4–5 strips of bacon, chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

three cloves of garlic, minced

1 cup mushrooms (optionally available, sliced)

1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)

1/2 cup heavy cream or cooking cream

half a cup of pork broth or water

1 tsp paprika

half a tsp black pepper

Salt to flavor

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (elective)

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook the bacon.

Heat a huge skillet over medium heat. Add chopped bacon and cook till crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving a small amount of bacon fat inside the pan for taste.

2. Sear the pork

In the same skillet, upload olive oil if wished. Add the red meat and prepare dinner until browned on all aspects. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove and set aside with the bacon.

Three. Build the bottom.

Add onion to the skillet and sauté for two to three minutes till gentle. Stir in garlic and mushrooms (if using), cooking until aromatic and lightly browned.

4. Add tomatoes and liquid.

Add cherry tomatoes and cook dinner till they start to soften. Pour in pork broth and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Five. Cook the gnocchi.

Add gnocchi immediately into the skillet. Stir properly and cover for three–5 minutes, permitting them to cook dinner and soak up flavor. The sauce will start to thicken, certainly, because of the gnocchi chefs.

6. Add cream and protein.

Lower the heat and stir within the cream. Return the cooked pork and bacon to the skillet. Mix the whole lot nicely so the sauce coats all ingredients calmly.

7. Finish and serve

Let it simmer for some other 2–3 mins till the sauce is rich and barely thick. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and stir lightly. Garnish with clean parsley before serving.

Serving Tips

Serve warm immediately from the skillet for quality texture.

Pair with a simple green salad or garlic bread.

Add chili flakes if you decide upon a spicy kick.

For a lighter version, replace cream with milk or pass cheese.

Flavor Profile

This dish is a stability of the following:

Smoky bacon

Rich, savory red meat

Soft, chewy gnocchi

Creamy garlic sauce with a slight sweetness from tomatoes

Why It Works

The gnocchi acts like a sponge, soaking up the beefy, creamy sauce, while bacon adds crunch and depth. Everything chefs in a single pan, making cleanup clean at the same time as maximizing taste.
