Meatball Pizza (Classic Homemade Recipe)
Meatball Pizza is a hearty,
flavorful pizza crowned with juicy meatballs, rich tomato sauce, and melted
cheese. It combines the consolation of pizza with the savory taste of pro
meatballs, making it best for dinner, events, or weekend food.
Ingredients
For the pizza dough (or use geared-up made):
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
¾ cup warm water
1 tbsp olive oil
For the meatballs:
250–300 g minced pork or fowl
1 small onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp Italian seasoning or blended
herbs
For topping:
¾ cup pizza or tomato sauce
1½ cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
½ tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: sliced onions, bell
peppers, mushrooms
Instructions
1. Make the dough
In a bowl, blend hot water, yeast,
and sugar. Let it sit for five–10 mins till foamy. Add flour, salt, and olive
oil. Knead for eight–10 minutes till clean. Cover and let it upward thrust for
1 hour until doubled in size.
(If using equipped-made dough,
bypass this step.)
2. Prepare the meatballs.
In a bowl, integrate minced meat,
onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and herbs. Mix well and shape
small chunk-sized meatballs. Heat a pan with a little oil and lightly fry or
bake them at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes till partially cooked.
Three. Assemble the pizza.
Preheat oven to 220°C (430°F). Roll
out the dough into a round or rectangular shape. Place on a baking tray.
Spread pizza sauce calmly over the
base. Sprinkle a touch of cheese first (optionally available for additional
taste). Add meatballs on top, followed by way of sliced vegetables if the use
of. Cover with closed mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle oregano and chili flakes.
Drizzle a small amount of olive oil.
Four. Bake
Bake for 12–15 mins or until the
crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Serve
Let the pizza cool for 2–three
minutes. Slice and serve warm. It pairs well with garlic dip, chili sauce, or a
sparkling salad.
Tips
You can use hen meatballs for a
lighter version.
Add more cheese for a richer taste.
Pre-cooking meatballs prevents soggy
pizza.
Fresh basil on a pinnacle provides a
tremendous aroma.
