Chicken Shish Kebabs
Recipe
Chicken Shish Kebabs are juicy, flavorful portions of
marinated fowl grilled with greens on skewers. This dish is famous in Middle
Eastern, Mediterranean, and Turkish cuisines. It’s best for a barbeque, oven
baking, or stovetop cooking.
Ingredients (Serves
4)
For the marinade:
500g boneless fowl breast or thighs, reduce into 1–2 inch
cubes
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp floor cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp chili flakes (optionally available)
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the skewers:
1 pink bell pepper, reduce into squares
1 green bell pepper, reduce into squares
1 small crimson onion, cut into chunks
8–10 cherry tomatoes
Wooden or metal skewers (soak timber skewers in water for 30
minutes before the usage of)
Optional garnishes:
Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
Yogurt sauce, tzatziki, or garlic sauce

Instructions
1. Prepare the
marinade
In a mixing bowl, integrate olive oil, lemon juice, minced
garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir until
properly mixed. Add the bird cubes and coat them frivolously with the marinade.
For nice taste, marinate for 4–6 hours or overnight.
While the bird is marinating, wash and reduce the veggies
into uniform portions. This ensures even cooking. Alternate threading the chook
cubes and vegetables onto skewers. A top sample is: fowl, bell pepper, onion,
cherry tomato, chook, and so forth. Do not overcrowd the skewers; leave a bit
area between portions for warmth flow.
