Vegetable Beef Soup (Hearty Homemade Recipe)
Vegetable Beef Soup is a comforting,
nutrient-rich dish made with gentle beef, quite a few greens, and a savory
broth. It’s filling enough to function as a full meal and bendy enough to
incorporate whatever vegetables you have got available. This model is balanced,
flavorful, and designed for home cooking.
Ingredients
Protein
500–700 g beef (chuck, stew meat, or
bone-in pork portions); reduce into cubes
Vegetables
2 medium carrots (sliced)
2 potatoes (peeled and diced)
1 cup green beans (chopped)
1 cup cabbage (shredded)
1 onion (finely chopped)
2 celery stalks (sliced)
1 cup sweet corn (non-compulsory)
2 tomatoes (chopped) or half a cup
of canned tomatoes
Aromatics & Seasoning
3–4 garlic cloves (minced)
1–2 bay leaves
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika (optionally available)
Salt to flavor
1 tsp dried thyme or oregano
Liquid & Oil
2 tbsp cooking oil
1. Five to 2 liters of water or pork
broth
Instructions
1. Brown the Beef
Heat oil in a large pot over
medium-high warmth. Add the red meat pieces and brown them on all sides. This
step builds deep taste in the soup. Do no longer overcrowd the pot; cook dinner
in batches if wished.
2. Add Aromatics
Sauté for two–three minutes till
fragrant and slightly golden. This creates the flavor base of the soup.
Three. Simmer the beef.
Add water or red meat broth to the
pot. Stir in bay leaves, black pepper, paprika, thyme, and salt. Bring to a
boil, then lessen warmness to low. Cover and simmer for approximately 45–60
mins, or until the red meat becomes soft.
If the use of tougher pork cuts,
simmering time can also expand to seventy-five to ninety minutes.
4. Add Vegetables
Once the red meat is tender, add
carrots, celery, potatoes, and tomatoes. Cook for 10–15 mins till they begin to
melt.
Five. Add Remaining Vegetables
Add green beans, cabbage, and corn.
Continue simmering for another 10–15 mins till all greens are cooked but still
hold their form.
6. Final Seasoning
Taste the soup and modify the salt
and pepper. Remove bay leaves before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm with:
Crusty bread or flatbread
Steamed rice for a greater filling
meal
A squeeze of lemon for brightness
Tips for Best Flavor
Browning the pork well is
fundamental to a rich broth.
Letting the soup simmer slowly
improves tenderness and depth of flavor.
You can upload chili flakes or clean
green chilies if you choose a spicier model.
For a thicker soup, mash a few
potatoes into the broth earlier than serving.
Variations
Low-carb version: Replace potatoes
with zucchini or extra cabbage.
More protein: Add beans or lentils
for additional nutrition.
Herbs improve: Fresh parsley or
coriander introduced on the quiet brightens the flavor.
Vegetable Beef Soup is a classic
comfort dish that works well for a circle of relatives' food, meal prep, or
bloodless weather days. It’s easy, flexible, and deeply pleasurable.
